Full of Grace: Crowned Madonnas

The Knights of Columbus Presents: Full of Grace: Crowned Madonnas. Rarely seen images of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Christ Child from St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City are on exhibit at the Knights of Columbus Museum now through January 8, 2012. Through the end of June, the special Pope John Paul II exhibition titled "Blessed: A Tribute to John Paul II" will still be showing, giving parishioners the opportunity to see both of these magnificent exhibitions. Blessed includes paintings, sculptures, relics, mementos and gifts from John Paul II. Admission is Free. The Knights of Columbus Museum, 1 State St., New Haven, CT; 203-865-0400. Cornerstone Foundation

The Cornerstone Foundation in Rockville is in need of volunteers and donations. As the need for assistance in the community grows and more is expected of local soup kitchens, food banks and shelters, and because Cornerstone is a faith-based foundation they receive no government assistance and rely solely on the kindness of donors like you to allow them to do this important work. Money tight? Trying to stretch your income? Senior citizen on a fixed budget? Consider trying Angel Food Ministries, a program sponsored by the Cornerstone foundation that provides groceries at a reduced fee. No proof of income or need is required - ANYONE can order. Pick up of orders is at St. John's Episcopal Church in Vernon.

Good News Garage

This program of Lutheran Social Services seeks car donations. Unlike other advertised car donation programs, Good News Garage is an established 12-year old non-profit who has proudly awarded over 3,500 vehicles to families in need New England-wide. All donations qualify for a tax deduction. If you plan to donate a car, please consider this program. WJMJ - FM Radio

the radio station of the Archdiocese of Hartford, presents a unique blend of adult music, along with news and messages of particular interest to Catholics. In addition, WJMJ offers specialty programs that include Glenn Colligan's "Saturday Afternoon Pops", Dick Robinson's "American Standards by the Sea", Bud Wilkinson's "Best of Broadway" and numerous features ranging from health to historical religious facts. Ministry for Mental Wellness

Come join the Ministry for Mental Wellness for an evening of sharing and caring. The group meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm at St. Helena's Church, West Hartford. BINGO every Tuesday

Come and join the fun and meet new friends at Assumption Bingo, Tuesday nights in Assumption Church Hall. There is NO SMOKING in the Hall and a full service kitchen is available. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.
